Being inspired by this night's events I am going to put up one misconception and show how it could be a misconception.
MC(MisConception): A thunderstorm is unpleasant/inclement weather.
I had a lot of fun in the rain, with loud thunder above my head and the imminent danger of getting fried. I really appreciate the awesomeness of lightning and thunderstorms now.
While this might be seen as just an opinion, I'm refuting the claim that everyone would consider it bad weather when the clouds are letting loose. There are some bold enough to enjoy it.
